Upcycling, reusing for well being

Wastes (left over fabric, used fishing nets, fruit skin) have been collected and turned into daily useful products, contributing to reduces wastes discharged into environment, change of people mindset on waste with valuable resources.  

Disadvanted women have been built business capacities and other related skills for working effectively and independently

Roles of the disadvantaged women have been changed from very passive to active. These women have started to contribute to the collective efforts of environmental protection through their strength. 

Awareness on environmental protection for public, including children through the efforts of upcycling - reusing have been increased. 

Resources inside the community have been mobilized and used effectively for a sustainable social and economic development in our locality

• 16 People with disabilities from Đà Nẵng, Quang Nam, Huế, Quảng Ngãi increased their awareness on environmental protection through upcycling work
• 8 trained on designing skill
• 5 Trained and can apply 5S in production
• 329.290 Upcycled Products have been made for daily uses
• 434 Upcycled handkerchief have been donated to the children with disabilities in Quang Ngai province
• 75 children with disabilities in Quang Ngai province increased their awareness on soap upcycling and had upcycled soap to use
• 18 Women (17 disabled women) living in Danang, Quang Nam, Hue, Quang Ngai and. 2 man with disabilities in Quang Nam, Quang Ngai have been increased income through the upcycling work
• 225 Upcycled hats have been donated to patients of cancer in hospital of Danang and Ho Chi Minh
• 704 Upcycled school T-shirts have 704been donated to children living in mountainous area of Quang Nam, Quang Tri, Quang Binh province
• 200 Children with disabilities living in Hope village in Danang have more nutrition food (donated by hotels in Danang using their buffet food remained)
• 1000 Upcycled facemasks have been donated to hospitals, center of health in Danang and local people in Hoi An to cope with COVID pandemic
• 75 children with disabilities in Quang Ngai province increased their awareness on soap upcycling and had upcycled soap to use
• 45 Children with disabilities and teachers in Hue increased their awareness, learnt how to upcycle soap, enzim liquid to use and had upcycled soaps to use
• 394 Children and adults without disabilities increased awareness on environmental protection through upcycling experiencing process
•  122 children with hearing impairment and other disabilities in Danang increased their awareness on environmental protection and experienced on making new year card with left over fabric 
• 261 Kg of used high quality clothes have been donated to poor people who need clothes in many provinces of Vietnam, including Quang Nam, Danang, Yen Bai, Son La, Lang Son
