- How many zeros should you write in one million? - How many zeros should I write in ten million? - But if it's nine and a half million, how many zeros should I write? Is 6 or 7 correct? Questions about numbers like this seem to only be heard when children study. But no, that's also the question that women with disabilities asked us in the class this afternoon. So let's move from learning letters to learning numbers, starting from the smallest numbers of 1 thousand, 10 thousand and then going up to 100 million (joke with each other: write it down so that if you win the lottery 100 million, you will know the correct number to check). The women write the number and compete with each other. The person who writes the most correct answers will be treated “chè” tonight. The process of learning happen just like that, learn, have fun together. By the end of the learning game, they know how to distinguish numbers, especially large numbers. Like so many others; Being able to go to school and have the knowledge & skills to do the things you like is the dream of many people with disabilities. However, because they are disabled and because of many other social barriers, that dream is abandoned halfway and that also affects their lives. Our Finding Your Dream Again (through alternative education) program was created to support disadvantage brothers and sisters in rediscovering and taking actions to fulfill their dreams. Our first class has opened for 3 first disabled women who pre-registered. And we are planning to expand further for those in need this year. Don’t forget to follow our special program. If you are interested and want to collaborate with us in this special program, don’t hesitate to contact us.
