Every year on March 25, "Vietnam Social Work Day" is celebrated to acknowledge and respect the noble value and humanistic relevance of the social work profession. The 8th Vietnam Social Work Day ceremony was presided over by the People's Committee of Da Nang City, with the assistance of the ACE Project - World Vision International Vietnam, on the morning of March 23, 2024, in APEC Park, City of Danang. Participating in this event were representatives of the City People's Committee leaders, leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, and the People's Council's Social and Cultural Committee; representatives from different departments and branches; leaders of associations and unions; leaders of People's Committees of districts, wards and communes; non-governmental organizations; hospitals, schools, centers providing social work services; businesses that contribute to the city's social work development program and representatives of press agencies. Fifteen Da Nang units, including CORMIS, which arranged many interactive activities to present research services and offer them to the community in a variety of sectors, were asked to take part in the event. As a result, all levels of participating delegates will know more about our services, enabling them to plan and communicate. Furthermore, it provides an opportunity for organizations such as ours to have a conversation, exchange knowledge, and learn from one another in order to better coordinate our efforts. We sincerely thank the People's Committee of Da Nang City; the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; World Vision and other members of the organizing department for organizing a meaningful event. In the near future, hopefully, we will engage in a variety of activities that will help us connect, share, and support one another and boost the efficacy of community support initiatives. Again, Happy Vietnam Social Work Day!
